The focus is on the "never walk alone" inclusion scheme for athletes with a disability.

The scheme will be organised in partnership with PluSport, the centre of excellence for sports for people with disabilities in Switzerland. Athletes with and without disabilities are invited to participate in all race events and categories.  

• 200 m Sprint Pararace Open, start 17:45 hrs
• 3 x 1400 m Pararace Relay, starts 19:00 hrs
• The "never walk alone" scheme will be integrated into all race events

Allowed to start:
Everyone: also walkers, nordic walkers and "never walk alone"-athletes

Entry fee until 29 August:
Pararace-open: CHF 28.00 (excl. surcharge)
Pararace-relay: CHF 75.00 (excl. surcharge)
"never walk alone": CHF 20.00 to 29.00 (excl. surcharge)
For registrations from 30 August  there is a surcharge of CHF 10.00.
You can support the project "Tuwapende Watoto" with a CHF 10.00 donation.
Register before 29 August  to get a race number printed with your first name.

Race number issue:
From 10.00 h in the Congress Kursaal Interlaken
Start numbers must be worn clearly visible and unfolded.

Award:
All participants will receive a running T-shirt.

Award ceremony:
Awards will be given to the first three runners in the race Pararace-open at the Kursaal garden. 
The fastest team in the Pararace-relay will receive a winner's prize in the Kursaal-garden.

Late entry:
Possible up to one hour before the start at race numbers issue, as long as race numbers are in stock.

Parking:
The number of public parking spaces near the start is limited. We recommend arriving by public transport or bicycle.

Free travel on public transport

All participants benefit from free 2nd class travel on public transport from their place of residence (Swiss railway station) to the event and back!

• The ticket to Interlaken will be valid from September 1 - 6 2024
• For the return journey, it will be valid from September 6 - 12 2023

Registered runners will receive their two personal promotion codes by e-mail at the end of August 2024. The codes can be used exclusively at sbb.ch/ticketshop to print out two free public transport tickets.

The Swiss Runners Ticket is non-transferrable and only valid for the return journey when presented together with your race number.
