The finish on the Kleine Scheidegg

Final check & closing of finish
The section between the Wixi ski-lift station and the finish area is topographically very demanding and makes it scarecly accessible for rescue teams. Participants are advised not to run through this section outside the official final checking times. In case of an accident, the risk of not being seen and/or helped is high. An extensive final check will be carried out at the Wixi fork (km 37.9), last time past this checkpoint: 14.35 hrs (running time approx. 5:35 hrs.). The finish line will close at 15.30 hrs (running time approx. 6 hrs 30 min). Late runners will be taken to Wengernalp railway station from where they can reach the finish area on Kleine Scheidegg by train.

Showers
Warm showers are sited near the distribution point for finisher T-shirts.

Baggage
The baggage deposit point is behind the railway station, direction Wengen.

Return transport
Return transport to Interlaken is exclusively by rail - via Wengen or Grindelwald. Return transport for runners is included in the starting fee (show start number). Please note that transport capacities are limited and waiting times may occur. Please allow sufficient time.

Finisher-T-Shirt
Each finisher will receive an official finisher T-shirt and a Jungfrau- Marathon medal at the finish on Kleine Scheidegg.

Massage services at the finish
Massage services at the finish area will be provided from 11.30 to 16.30 hrs in the finishing area (tent on the garage roof of the lauberhorn chairlift).

Finisher certificates
Finisher certificates will be printed out at special terminals in Interlaken in the marquee on the day of the race. You also have the option of printing out the certificate at home via Internet.

Lost properties
Lost property including valuable items not beeing reclaimed by 23.00 hrs on Saturday can be collected at the offices of the Jungfrau Railways, Harderstrasse, Interlaken, from 08.00 hrs as of Monday, 12 September (Tel. +41(0)33 828 71 50). Any items of clothing (t-shirts, trainers etc.) left behind will be kept in the marquee until Sunday and then disposed of.

Ranking list
Ranking lists will be published on our homepage from Saturday 17.00 hrs and also displayed in the marquee. No ranking lists will be sent by post.
