Wiliam Tell open air theatre and the 20th Jungfrau-Marathon
2012 the "William Tell open air theatre Interlaken" celebrate their 100 year existence. Especially for he Jungfrau Marathon runners, the biggest open thatre of Switzerland, extends its season with two extra performances. The open air theatre performs Schillers classic "William Tell", which explains the touching history of the swiss liberator and the foundation of Switzerland as a country itself. Open air thatre at its best!
Attention: the theatre is performed in german, english brochures which explain the history of William Tell can be purchased at the location of the open air theatre.
The two extra performances take place in Matten, in the the open theatre arene (ca. 1,2 km from the start of the Jungfrau Marathon).
